Everything you see, everything you touch, everything you think is you. Just after the thought, after the perception, after the feeling, you say, "I was there as a person and I was having this thought, this feeling, this perception." But, that isn't true, because at the time of the thought, feeling, or perception there was no thinker, feeler, or perceiver, and there was no object thought, felt, or perceived. There was only thinking, feeling, perceiving. So, from moment to moment there is only oneness. And this is what you are. This is the
real you. As such, you are not here or there. "I am here," is a
thought. When you eliminate this thought, where are you?
The manifested Universe is not the living entity's natural environment. Like a fish out of water, he cannot find real happiness which is more than an absence of pain (just as real peace is more than a truce). The spirit soul must return to the transcendental realms beyond the worlds of the material Creation. The soul is going back go Godhead.
The soul finds satisfaction in itself, being part and parcel of the Supersoul. Becoming self-sufficient, it need not satisfy the senses separately.
One feels real pleasure only when serving the Absolute by offering Him the food one eats, dedicating every action, project and creation to Him. The struggle for existence separate from the Organic Whole fades away as Universal Life remains.

On Ego
"Well," you ask. "How do I get rid of it?" And my answer to that is: That's the wrong question. How does one get rid of what? You can't get rid of your hallucination of being an ego by an activity of the ego. Sorry, but it can't be done . . . If you try to get rid of your ego with your ego you will just end up in a vicious circle. You'd be like somebody who worries because they worry because they worry.
